Getting Started with Chat

Chat Mode is where most users begin. It's like having a smart friend who remembers your conversations.

Your First Conversation

  1. Open Dinoki using Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+D
  2. Type a message like "Hello! What can you help me with?"
  3. Press Enter to send
  4. Watch the response stream in real-time

Character Mode (Pro) 🎭

Bringing Characters to Life

Character Mode adds animated companions to your desktop. They're not just decorations—they're interactive!

Activating Your Character

  1. Enable Character Mode in settings
  2. Choose your character (Dinoki, TomatoBoy, PigPig, or Fuegato)
  3. Watch them appear on your desktop
  4. Drag to move them anywhere on screen

Interacting with Characters

Click Actions:

  • Single click - Character responds with animation
  • Double click - Opens chat window
  • Right click - Character menu options

  • Characters walk around on their own
  • They react to time of day

Agent Mode (Pro) 🤖

Your Autonomous Assistant

Agent Mode lets Dinoki work on tasks independently. Set a goal and let your AI companion handle it.

Setting Up Agent Tasks

  1. Switch to Agent Mode using Cmd/Ctrl+2
  2. Define a clear goal for your agent
  3. Set execution interval (how often to work on tasks)
  4. Enable required tools for the task
  5. Let it run in the background

Daily Research Assistant:

Goal: "Every morning, search for the latest AI news and save a summary to my desktop"
